Brachioplasty (Arm Lift) Case 73

This is a 63 year old female from the Surprise, Arizona area who visited my Scottsdale, Arizona area medical practice regarding arm lift surgery.  This patient had lost well over 100 pounds after a gastric bypass procedure, and was very unhappy with the loose, excess skin of her upper arms.  She would never wear short sleeve shirts because she was too self-conscious about the appearance of her arms.  Please note that I previously performed a tummy-tuck and breast lift on this patient and waited for full healing to occur prior to proceeding with her arm lift.

I recommended a full brachioplasty (arm lift) to remove this patient's excess skin and to contour the shape of her arms.  The surgery was performed without complications, and the patient was feeling great after just a few days.  She demonstrated an excellent improvement in the shape of her arms, and could not have been happier with the results (she has worn a short sleeve shirt to all of her followup visits.)
