Power Assisted Liposuction Case 87

This patient is a 42 year old female from the Phoenix, Arizona area who presented to my Scottsdale, Arizona area medical practice with complaints about excess fat of the inner and outer thighs.  This patient is very involved in athletics, and explained that no matter how much exercise she did, she could not significantly change the shape of her thighs.

I explained to the patient that many people have areas of fat that are disproportionate and are resistant to diet and exercise.  Often, people have a genetic predisposition to hold on to fat in certain areas of their bodies.  I recommended power assisted liposuction of the inner and outer thighs to improve her leg contours and allow her to fit better into jeans and other types of pants and shorts.

I performed power assisted liposuction and removed large amouts of pure fat from the inner and outer thigh of each leg.  The patient noticed an early, dramatic improvement and was very happy with her new appearance.  At the time of these photos, the patient is only 6 weeks out from surgery.  She can expect significant further improvement over the next 6-8 months.
