This patient is a 47 year old female from the Phoenix, Arizona area who presented to my office with interest in breast enhancement. This patient felt that her breasts were proportionately too small for her body and wished to be fuller while maintaining a natural appearance.
I felt that this patient would do best with silicone implants placed through an inframammary (breast crease) incision and under the muscles for the most natural appearance. In the operating room, I tried a number of different shapes and sizes and felt that Mentor smooth round high profile cohesive silicone-gel implants looked best for her frame. She also had a mild size asymmetry. I found that the best size match was a 425cc implant on the left and a 450cc implant on the right.
After the surgery, this patient recovered nicely, and she was very pleased with the improvement in her breast shape and size.
