This patient is a 31 year old female from the Chandler, Arizona area who came to my Scottsdale, Arizona area medical practice interested in breast augmentation. This patient was overall happy with her physique, but wished to have fuller breasts. She was very concerned about maintaining a natural appearance and not looking too "top heavy".
I recommended silicone gel implants placed under the muscle and through the areolas for the most natural and aesthetic result. I felt that a more modest sized implant would be most in line with the patient's wishes.
In the OR, I placed 300cc smooth, round, moderate plus profile cohesive silicone gel implants through the areolas and under the chest muscles. After surgery the patient had an excellent recovery and was extremely happy with her fuller, natural appearing breasts.
