This patient is a 32 year old woman from Gilbert, Arizona who came to my Scottsdale, Arizona area medical practice with complaints of deflated appearing breasts after childbirth. The patient wanted to have fuller, perkier breasts and was very concerned with maintaining a natural look.
I recommended a combination of silicone cohesive gel implants placed under the muscle with a circumareolar mastopexy (around the areola tightening) in order to achieve the most aesthetic, natural appearing breasts.
In the operating room, I placed 375cc smooth, round, moderate profile Mentor silicone cohesive gel implants in both breasts. These were placed through the areola to minimize scarring. I also tightened the breast tissue and raised the areolas by performing a circumareolar mastopexy.
Following her surgery, the patient did very well and was very happy with her perky, natural appearing breasts.
