Breast Lift (Mastopexy) Case 739

This is a pleasant 66 year old female who presented to my Scottsdale practice after having lived the last decade with a severe capsular contracture of both breasts. Her breasts were misshapen and caused her considerable discomfort. A complex revision was recommended, with complete capsulectomies, new pocket creation, placement of Galaform 3D bioresorbable mesh, implant exchange, and circumareolar mastopexies. She stated that she wanted to look natural following this surgery.

During her surgery, her old implants as well as the capsules were removed, she was changed from over to under the muscle, and her new implants were supported with Galaform 3D bioresorbable mesh for improved lower pole support. I placed multiple sizers to ensure that her preoperative size requests were achieved. Ultimately, I placed a Sientra 440 cc High Profile smooth round silicone gel implant on the right and a Sientra 470 cc High Profile smooth round silicone gel implant on the left. She is shown postoperatively, feeling so much better with her new soft and natural looking implants.
