The patient is a 40-year-old female who presented to my office with complaints of back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain and bra strap grooving associated with large breasts. I felt the patient would benefit from bilateral breast reduction surgery.
In surgery, I performed a vertical scar breast reduction. A total of approximately 183 grams was removed from the right breast and 190 grams from the left. The patient was very happy with her new appearance and was extremely pleased with the improvement in her back and neck pain.
