Breast Reduction Case 380

This patient is a 23-year-old female who presented to my Scottsdale office with complaints of symptomatic macromastia including back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, bra strap grooving and difficulty finding bras that fit properly. I felt the patient would benefit from bilateral breast reduction using a superomedial pedicle and an inverted T-scar skin resection pattern. The patient wished to be on the small side of the spectrum and I felt she would benefit greatly from a breast reduction both aesthetically and functionally.

During surgery I performed a breast reduction and 675 grams were removed from the right breast and 743 grams from the left.  She recovered well and was very happy with her improved appearance and comfort.
