This is a male in his 30's from the Phoenix, Arizona area who came to my Scottsdale, Arizona medical office with complaints of a "weak chin" and poorly defined neck. He wished to have a natural improvement in his appearance without an oversized looking chin.
After examining this patient, I recommended a combination of chin augmentation to improve the projection and strength of his chin as well as submental (under the jaw) liposuction to improve the contours of his neck.
In surgery, I placed a moderate sized, extended anatomical chin implant (for the smoothest and most natural appearance), and removed approximately 40cc of fat via Power-assisted liposuction.
The patient healed nicely, and was very pleased with the stronger, more masculine appearance of his chin and neck.
